As discussed at practice, it is our expectation that you communicate any missed classes across Thursday and/or Friday to your teachers face-to-face and follow-up via email. If you have any tests, projects, presentations, assignments, etc., you need to make alternate plans with your teacher to ensure that all work is completed.
We will be watching the forecast through the week to get a better sense of the to wear/to bring list but anticipate lots of water, snacks, changes of clothes, and sunscreen
The Stotesbury Cup is the oldest and largest highschool regatta in the world, running continuously since 1927.
The regatta is heavily organized by Mount connections - Bonnie Mueller (alum) - Commodore of the Schuylkill Navy; Joe Kieffer (alum parent) - Race Directors; Meg Kennedy - Coaches Committee; I manage all high-school volunteers; and many Mount parents as adult volunteers
The racing format is as follows:Â
Time trials will be held for all events on Friday
Semifinals will be determined by time trial finish order with the top 12 or 18 advancing based on size of the category. These races will be held Friday late-afternoon and Saturday morning
Finals will be held on Saturday afternoon and determined by finish in the semi finals
